Wikis - Potluck Picnic Feast: Task #7

I will bring the Apple and Quinoa Recipe that I created in my Google docs for Task #6. I am sure that It will be a hit because of its unique taste that varies with the ingredients placed into it. It is versatile and so much healthier than a potato salad.
Once I got into the wiki, it was easy to use. Also the instructions for this task were clear and user-friendly.
I can see a use for this kind of wiki tool in my course that I teach at Brock University. I will consider adding it as a means for students to add their comments on a certain topic. It has possibilities for sure.

The wiki assignment is for sure one of my favourites. I'm glad you liked it!

As for quinoa... I'm kicking myself I didn't buy the huge bag I found at CostCo last night. I've never cooked it but I just know I'm going to love it.

If you don't mind me asking, Gizmo, if you have it as a side to something do you dress it up? Like with soy sauce or something?

In an educational environment, I prefer wikis to blogs because there are more organizational options. I hope you'll share with us how your students enjoy the experience.

Library Lady,
Depending on what ingredients you put into it, you could dress it up any way you wish. Think of it as rice. You could cook plain rice but then modify it in many ways. The same with quinoa. If you google "quinoa recipes', you will discover all kinds of optional dish varieties. Good luck!
