I love this blog for and about books. It is easy to see how popular a specific title that you added really is across the various users of LibraryThing. I also find it valuable to see what other titles out there are being read by others. Connecting to or else seeing like-minded people (reading what you are) is somewhat reassuring. This is a good way to keep abreast of what is being read while at the same time discovering new titles and authors that I have not heard of as yet. The reviews too would serve as a way of deciding whether a title is worth the purchase or not.
